The site is stewarded by Almono Limited Partnership, working alongside Tishman Speyer and partners including Carnegie Mellon University, the University of Pittsburgh, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and more.

Almono Limited Partnership is a collaboration of three Pittsburgh-based philanthropic foundations—the Richard King Mellon Foundation, The Heinz Endowments, and the Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation—formed to guide the long-term future of the Hazelwood Green site. Together, these organizations bring decades of investment in economic development, sustainability, and community well-being across the region. Through Almono, they are advancing a shared vision to transform this former industrial site into a place that creates opportunity, reflects the surrounding neighborhood, and supports Pittsburgh’s continued growth.
